Privacy Policy — Clean Sudoku Modern

This privacy policy describes how the Clean Sudoku Modern app handles your information.
What we collect
The puzzles play offline and the app has no account system or sign-up — it does not ask you for your name, email, location, or contacts, and your progress and settings are stored only on your device (see below).
Clean Sudoku Modern is ad-supported. To show and measure ads, our ad provider (Google AdMob) collects an advertising identifier and device / usage information — see Advertising below for the detail and your choices.
What we store on your device
Clean Sudoku Modern saves your progress and preferences locally on your device only, using standard iOS / Android storage:
- Your current in-progress puzzle, so auto-save can pick up where you left off
- Completed-puzzle history, the timer, and your personal best times
- Your settings (difficulty, notes / pencil-marks, theme, mistake-checking, hints)
This data never leaves your device and is removed if you uninstall the app.
Advertising
Clean Sudoku Modern is ad-supported, and we use Google AdMob to display ads in the app.
- To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect a mobile advertising identifier (Apple’s IDFA or Google’s Advertising ID), along with device and usage information, approximate location, and ad-interaction data.
- Ads may be personalized, which can involve tracking you across other apps and websites. On iOS, that tracking happens only if you allow it through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt; if you decline, you’ll see non-personalized ads. On Android, you can opt out of ad personalization or reset your Advertising ID in your device settings.
- AdMob is a Google service. The data it collects is handled under Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s advertising terms; we don’t control what Google collects beyond the options we configure.
- You can change ad tracking / personalization at any time in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and Apple Advertising; Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
Game services (leaderboards & achievements)
We do not currently use any game services. If we add features like leaderboards, achievements, or cross-device saved progress, the following will apply, and we will update this policy’s effective date:
- We may integrate Apple Game Center and / or Google Play Games Services.
- These services expose a platform-assigned player ID and the game progress you choose to submit (such as scores or completion times). We never receive or store your Apple or Google account password.
- Your use of those features is also governed by Apple’s and Google’s own privacy policies:
Children
Clean Sudoku Modern is a general-audience game, not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and we apply age-appropriate ad settings where required.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy — for example, when we introduce the advertising or game-service features described above — we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, note the change in the app.
