Privacy Policy — Star Captain: Space Trader

This Privacy Policy explains how Baby Dog Asset Management (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the mobile game Star Captain: Space Trader (the “Game”). By downloading or using the Game, you agree to this Policy.

1. The short version

The Game itself does not require an account and does not ask you for personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number. Your game progress is saved locally on your device. The Game is free and is supported by advertising. To show ads — including personalized (targeted) ads — our advertising partner, Google, collects certain device and usage information as described below.

2. Information collected for advertising

We display advertisements served through Google AdMob (Google’s mobile advertising service). To serve, personalize, cap, measure, and prevent fraud in these ads, Google and its advertising partners may collect and process:

Device advertising identifiers (Android Advertising ID / Google Advertising ID, and on iOS the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) where permitted);
IP address and derived approximate (coarse) location, such as country or region;
Device and technical information, such as device model, operating system version, language, and network information;
Ad interaction data, such as which ads were shown, viewed, or clicked.

This information is collected directly by Google through its SDK, not stored on our own servers. We do not sell your personal information for money.

We use personalized advertising, which means ads may be tailored based on the information above. Before showing personalized ads to users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the Game presents a consent request using Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP). You may grant or decline consent, and you can change your choice later — see “Your choices” below. Where you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalized. For users in the United States and other regions, we honor applicable opt-out and privacy signals.

5. Your choices

You can control ad tracking and personalization at any time:

Reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization, in your device settings (Android: Settings > Privacy/Google > Ads; iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking / Apple Advertising).
Change your in-app consent choice at any time from the Game’s settings (look for the privacy or ad-consent option).
Manage Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.

6. Children’s privacy

The Game is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction, such as 16 in parts of the EEA). Because the Game uses personalized advertising, it is not designed for or targeted at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

7. Data retention and security

We do not maintain our own accounts or servers of personal data for the Game. Any information collected for advertising is retained and secured by Google in accordance with Google’s policies and retention practices.

8. International data transfers

The advertising partners we use, including Google, operate globally and may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date on this page, and where required we will seek renewed consent.
